About me
Kim facilitates learning relating to literacy, curriculum and instruction, and digital learning, often with a focus on social justice. She also has the privilege of supporting school library media specialists through the CESA 2 LMS Network and in-district coaching for those acquiring LMS certification. She developed a passion for finding books in which all her students could see themselves, and through which they could gain insight into others' humanity and realities, during her nine years as a library media specialist and 15 years as an ELA teacher. She has also enjoyed partnering with educators in service of students as a reading specialist, tech integrator and instructional coach. Kim is now in a doctoral program studying educational leadership, equity, and literacy.
