About me
My name is Ivana Renteria. I am the middle school librarian as well as the Department Chair of Libraries at the University School of Milwaukee. I am the 2023 winner of the Charles F. Wright Technology and Innovation Award, which is granted to faculty members who enhance their teaching through innovation and the integration of technology. Prior to being a librarian, I taught for fourteen years in Racine, Wisconsin and El Paso, Texas. I received my MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2020. In addition to my responsibilities as a librarian, I also run our middle school book club, and I coach the robotics team.
