About me
Wisconsin native Christina Makos graduated from UW-Madison (BA), Marquette University (MA History), and UW-Milwaukee (MLIS). After earning her MLIS in Archives, Makos switched gears and went to an elementary school library! Makos spent 3 years at elementary, 5 years at public libraries, and found her home at middle school. She loves connecting books with readers and community members with the library. Makos loves to volunteer, including being a retired Treasurer of the Friends of the CCBC. When not at work or volunteering, she can be found hanging out with Violet (bunny) and Henry (gecko), reading, and thrifting with her family.
